What is your best tip for client retention, retailing, or upselling?
Just to genuinely care. Care about the client and really "see" who they are as a person and what it will take to give them that individual service that they need. If CARE were an abbreviation for me, it stand for Compassion, Ability, Respect, Ernest. You need to demonstrate understanding, the skill to get the job done, respect for the client's expectations and boundaries and honesty and sincerity.
What is your favorite professional spa or salon product of all time (brand & product name)?
Wow! That's hard. I would say that it's not so much a brand as it is a natural product. That would be lavender essential oil. It is truly one of the most versatile substances that not only balances the mood, but disinfects, calms and so much more! No wonder it's a spa staple in all aspects of the industry.
