What is Spa Standard, and why would I want to join?

Spa Standard is an education portal just for spa, salon, massage and wellness professionals! This is a place where we can all come together to grow our skills and make new industry connections. For example, a member of the reception team can learn more about what is going on in the treatment rooms, a manager or owner can learn the newest social media tactics, and a therapist or technician can learn a new skill from a respected educator. We all love to explore the web, why not do it on a site that will help you to get ahead at work? I can't access some areas or posts without upgrading my membership.  What can I see for free?

Any posts on the Home Page as well as the Free Content Pages can be accessed without membership. If you become a member with an Introductory Membership Role, you will also receive new content weekly, sent directly to your email address! You will also be able to comment on our Content Requests Discussion Board to let us know what you would like to see and learn on Spa Standard.

More importantly, for less than the cost of a single movie ticket, you can have full site access , plus a 15% discount on all Courses and Continuing Education!  When is the last time you got that much for so little?


Is a business level membership really important?  Why not just share my log-in info with my team?

There are many reasons why a business membership would be the better choice!  Most importantly:

1. Your team would have access to your user dashboard and settings, including payment information.  This means they could potentially make unauthorized purchases on your membership account or make changes to your  user profile or password.

2. Your team would be able to comment on discussion boards using your profile.

2. Any courses or CE's taken receive certificates of attendance.  These include the member's user name, which would be inaccurate for all team members except for you!


I have a large team.  Are there any volume discounts for membership?
